Why Give
To give is a blessing. Your contributions make it possible for Community Baptist Church to continue to do the work that God has called us to do in our community and the world at large.
What to Give
The standard is set in the Old Testament at 10% for tithe (Malachi 3:10) and Jesus pronounced the same in the New Testament (Matthew 23:23). The New Testament standard for giving is stated in 1 Timothy 6:18. We encourage you to do your best to start at 10% and aim for relative generosity. We also encourage you to pray about it, and ask God what He would have you give (James 1:5).
